9A Advanced Manufacturing
9A Advanced Manufacturing is the 9altitudes best-of-breed solution on top of the Dynamics 365 platform for project based manufacturing organizations.
In 2013, the group started questioning the organization of its logistics. An external consultancy recommended that APEM centralize its logistics through a platform. The prerequisite? Standardizing the information system, as each of the group's subsidiaries had its own IS.
While the overall project consisted of reviewing all functionalities, three stages were defined:
As APEM is an international group, it was necessary to start by implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 within the parent company before rolling out the ERP to the various subsidiaries.
Standardising the information system by implementing an ERP system across the group was a prerequisite for optimising and centralising the company's logistics organisation.
Our staff are now able to handle more and more orders and optimise picking on a surface area of over 700m2!
Before Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, there was a disconnect between accounting and management control. Today, everything is integrated: "management control can intervene as soon as a problem arises in production, without having to wait until the end of manufacturing to realise the problem and correct it", explains Jérôme Byl, Industrial Organisation Manager.
The tool enables control at every stage of the process. This means you can react immediately, rather than discovering an error once it's too late.
The 9altitudes consultants are at ease because they have a perfect command of their tool. The experience and know-how of our teams enables us to support our customers in all the problems they may encounter when setting up a new ERP project.
They know how to guide you and help you make the right decisions.
"Twelve months after implementing ERP, you have users telling us "it's brilliant"!" explains Joël Becquet, Chief Financial Officer
